These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Delta Air Lines PTFS (deltaptfs.pages.dev).
In these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to the people who operate Delta Air Lines PTFS. "You" refers to anyone who accesses or uses it. We may also refer to ourselves as "Delta Air Lines PTFS".
By using the website, you agree to these Terms. This applies whether you have an account or are visiting as a guest. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
1. About the website
Delta Air Lines PTFS is an independently operated website for a virtual airline community that uses Pilot Training Flight Simulator (PTFS) and may also take part in other flight simulators.
The website may contain flight information, flight records, staff information, applications, training material, schedules, statistics, events, account tools, and other features used by the community.
The website will change over time. We may launch new features, change existing ones, or remove features that are no longer needed.
2. Non-affiliation disclaimer
Delta Air Lines PTFS is an unofficial fan project.
Neither the website nor the virtual airline is affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, operated by, or partnered with Delta Air Lines, Inc.
The airline represented on this website is fictional, but based on a real-life airline. It exists for virtual airline and community use. It is not a service, program, or official website of Delta Air Lines.
References to Delta Air Lines, including its name, trademarks, logos, branding, aircraft liveries, and similar material, do not indicate ownership by this website. Those materials belong to Delta Air Lines or their respective owners.
The website is also independent from Roblox Corporation and the developers of PTFS unless a specific page clearly states otherwise.
Information on this website should never be treated as information from the real Delta Air Lines. This includes information about employees, company policies, safety procedures, schedules, prices, aircraft operations, or services.
3. Eligibility and other platforms
Some community members may use third-party platforms such as Roblox or Discord.
If you use one of those platforms, you are responsible for meeting its eligibility and age requirements and following its own rules and Terms of Service.
We may limit access to website features for security, moderation, technical reasons, or to preserve community rules.
4. Accounts
Some parts of the website may require an account. In some cases, you may sign in through another service.
If the website asks you to provide information, the information you knowingly provide should be accurate.
You are responsible for the security of your account. Do not give another person your password, authentication code, session token, or similar login information.
If you believe someone has gained access to your account without permission, contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
You may not pretend to be another person, member of staff, organization, or website administrator.
We may restrict or close an account when we reasonably believe it is being used for fraud, impersonation, abuse, or another violation of these Terms.
5. Rules
You must reasonably use the website and may not knowingly interfere with its normal operation.
The following conduct is prohibited:
- Violating laws or regulations that apply to you;
- Accessing or attempting to access accounts, databases, servers, administrative systems, or restricted areas without permission;
- Bypassing or attempting to bypass bans, account restrictions, or any moderation action;
- Using malware, exploits, scripts, or software intended to damage the website;
- Deliberately disrupting the website or making it unavailable to others;
- Running automated collection tools when doing so places an unreasonable load on the website or has not been authorized;
- Harassing or threatening other members of the community;
- Impersonating another person or member of staff;
- Submitting fake applications, flight records, reports, or other records;
- Manipulating points, rankings, statistics, flight records, or similar systems;
- Knowingly taking advantage of a bug or unintended website behavior for personal benefit;
- Using website features to send spam or unauthorized advertising;
- Uploading material that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms; or
- Helping another person carry out prohibited activity.
An unsuccessful attempt may still be treated as a breach of the rules if the conduct clearly shows an attempt to break these rules.
6. Community rules and conduct elsewhere
The website may be used alongside Discord servers, Roblox groups, PTFS sessions, training events, or other parts of the PTFS community. Those places can have their own rules in addition to these Terms.
We may consider activity outside the website during moderation if it directly affects this community. For example, conduct in an official community server may be relevant if it involves harassment of community members, fraudulent website records, or interference with website operations.
We may also respond to actions that violate the rules of a third-party platform when it affects the operation or safety of this community.
7. Applications and staff positions
When applications are open, Users may be allowed to apply for positions such as flight crew, ground crew, staff, trainers, or other community roles via the Discord server.
Sending an application does not guarantee acceptance. We decide which applications are accepted and may close or pause recruitment when necessary. Roles may have requirements that a User must meet before applying or being promoted.
Staff structures, ranks, training requirements, and responsibilities may also change. A User may be removed from a role for valid moderation, staffing, performance, or other reasons.
Unless a position specifically says otherwise, community positions are voluntary and exist only within the virtual airline.
Holding one of these positions does not make you an employee of Delta Air Lines, Roblox Corporation, Pilot Training Flight Simulator, or another real-world company.
8. Flight records, statistics, and achievements
The website may keep records of activity completed in PTFS. These records can include flight minutes, achievements, or similar statistics.
They are virtual records. They are not pilot licenses, employment records, aviation qualifications, or genuine certifications.
Records may occasionally need to be changed. We may correct or remove a record if there is a technical problem, duplicate submission, false record, database problem, rule violation, exploit, or another legitimate reason affecting the system's accuracy.
9. Content submitted by Users
When you submit something to the website, you give us permission to store and process it as needed to run the website and community. This permission also allows us to display or reproduce the material where that is part of the feature you chose to use.
We may also use submitted material for legitimate moderation or community administration.
You are responsible for making sure that material you submit does not unlawfully infringe someone else's rights.
10. Intellectual property
The website may contain original code, graphics, text, databases, layouts, and other material created for the project.
Different material may have different licensing terms. Some material may be copyrighted, some may be open source, and some may belong to third parties.
You may use material only in ways allowed by its license, its owner, these Terms, or applicable law. You may not claim ownership of website material or third-party intellectual property that does not belong to you.
Delta Air Lines branding remains the property of Delta Air Lines or their respective owners. The same principle applies to intellectual property belonging to Roblox, PTFS, and other third parties. Nothing in these Terms gives those rights to you.
11. Third-party services
The website may rely on or link to services operated by other companies. These may include Discord, Roblox, Google, GitHub, Cloudflare, or similar providers. We do not operate those services.
Their own Terms of Service, privacy policies, availability, and security practices apply when you use them.
A failure or outage affecting a third-party service may also cause part of this website to stop working. We are not responsible for the operation of services that we do not control.
12. Website security
Do not probe, test, bypass, or exploit website security without permission.
If you discover a security problem, please report it privately to Administration. We may review a good-faith report so the issue can be fixed.
13. Enforcement and moderation
When we receive a report or have reason to believe these Terms were violated, we may review the available information before making a moderation decision.
There is no fixed punishment for every type of violation. The response will depend on what happened, how serious it was, whether other people were affected, and whether similar problems have happened before.
Available actions include warnings, removal of content or records, temporary restrictions, removal from a staff position, reports to an applicable third-party platform, website bans, or termination of access.
That list is not exhaustive. We may use a different response when it better fits the circumstances. We may act immediately when waiting would create a reasonable security risk or would allow serious disruption to continue.
14. Appeals
Some moderation decisions may be appealed. An appeal allows us to review a decision again. It does not guarantee that the decision will be changed.
Unless we decide otherwise, a moderation action can remain in effect while the appeal is under review.
An appeal may be rejected when it knowingly contains false information, threatens staff, repeatedly submits the same argument without new information, or otherwise abuses the appeal process.
We may set reasonable rules or cutoffs for appeals if the community needs them.
15. Availability of the website
We try to keep the website working, but uninterrupted service is not guaranteed.
Downtime may occur due to maintenance, updates, software problems, database errors, hosting issues, third-party outages, security work, or circumstances outside our control. Sometimes a feature may need to be temporarily disabled while we fix a problem.
We may also change or permanently remove a feature when it is no longer practical to maintain.
16. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent allowed by law, the website is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."
We do not promise that every feature will always work or that the website will always be available. We also cannot promise that all data will remain permanently available, accurate, or recoverable.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
The website is made for a flight-simulation community. Do not rely on it for actual aviation, navigation, travel planning, safety decisions, financial matters, legal advice, medical matters, or emergency information.
17. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website Providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages resulting from use of the website or an inability to use it.
This can include loss of website data, records, submitted content, virtual points, ranks, achievements, community positions, profits, or revenue.
This limitation applies regardless of whether a claim is based on contract, warranty, negligence, product liability, or another legal theory, including cases where the possibility of such damage was known in advance.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability when the law does not allow that liability to be excluded.
18. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the website at any time.
We may suspend or restrict a User's access when there is a reasonable reason to do so. This can happen after a Terms violation, abuse of website resources, a security problem, a legal requirement, a relevant third-party complaint, or another issue that affects website operations.
Serious or repeated violations could result in permanent loss of access. We may also discontinue the website itself or a particular service.
Any section of these Terms that reasonably needs to remain valid after access ends will continue to apply where allowed by law.
19. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may need to change as the website or community changes.
When we make a substantial change, we may post a notice on the website or use another community communication method, such as Discord or email. We may also update the date shown at the top of this page.
The revised Terms apply once they take effect. If you continue using the website after that point, your continued use means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree with a new version, stop using the website.
22. Entire agreement
These Terms and any policies that are expressly made part of them form the agreement regulating your use of the website.
They replace earlier agreements or accords on the same subject matter, whether written or spoken.
